Weatherization is a specialized service focusing on improving a home's ability to protect their occupants from the wind, rain, and extreme temperatures.
In Truckee's climate, long term benefits are achieved by finding and fixing air leaks, and upgrading insulation. This helps make our homes more comfortable, and easier to keep warm in the winter and cool in the summer. This program focuses on improving Truckee's existing buildings, and helping improving living conditions for Truckee's income challenged residents.
